What do we stand for?

SGK has been the sports organization in The Hague since 1965 where young and old with intellectual and/or other disabilities can play sports, exercise and participate in events and trips. 

To this end, SGK encourages, organizes and supervises sports activities, which are geared to the level of development, with the aim of promoting the health of the participants and allowing them to obtain aind maintain a social and dignified place in society.

The organization consists of a group of very committed people, namely a board, director, administrative staff and sports instructors. Additionally, SGK is supproted by a big group of enthusiastic volunteers, trainees, sponsors, donors and funds.

SGK is a recognized training company and offers places to various trainees from vocational education every year.

SGK has the ANBI-status, which means that donations and gifts are tax deductible.

The statutory objectives of SGK are: improving sport and exercise for people with a mental or other disability. Additionally, we aim to improve emancipation and integration in society.
